the 15 Minutes of Fame team
Filmmakers - not facilitators - who enjoy sharing the creative
experience
Guntis Sics: Guntis is one of Australia's pre-eminent sound
engineers having worked on many well known movies such as Babe, Priscilla,
Moulin Rouge and The Quiet American. He was nominated for an Academy
Award in 2001 for his work on Moulin Rouge, and has picked up many other
awards and nominations including an Emmy, a British Academy Award for
Moulin Rouge, AFI and Penguin. Review his career on IMDB here.
Guntis has also directed numerous short films and composed music for
a variety of programmes over the years. He lectures at the Australian
Film Television and Radio School on a casual basis and divides his time
between home in Byron Bay and the rest of the world on various filming
projects.

Joel Leskowitz: With an MBA in international business,
Joel has delivered a wide range of training and development programs
in corporate, government and educational settings around the world.
He has helped companies develop programs for leadership, customer service
and stress management.
Joel has also directed and produced a number of documentaries that have
aired on PBS and network TV in the US, with Deepak Chopra, Al Gore and
other prominent authors.

Roger Lanser has been working in the area of photography
both here and overseas for nearly 30 years. He has worked on 5 films
with English actor/director Ken Branagh, photographed beautiful woman
like Carrie Ann Moss, Sarah Michelle Geller, Emma Thompson and Helena
Bonham Carter. He has photographed some of England's great comedies,
including Peter's Friends, and also Much Ado About Nothing, The Crop
and Strange Bedfellows. He has worked alongside Ben Elton, Hugh Laurie,
Rowan Atkinson, Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders. The list of great
male stars he has photographed includes Denzel Washington and Keanu
Reeves, Robert De Niro, Jack Lemmon, Freddie Prince Jr, and Aussies
like Paul Hogan, Richard Roxsborough and Michael Caton.
Stewart Faichney is one of Australia's best-known actors
with a career spanning 33 years. With roles on stage, TV and the silver
screen, Stewart has been called one of Australia's treasures. He has
also written and produced many films. His most recent project was writing
2004's, "Strange Bedfellows" with Paul Hogan and Michael Caton.
Michael Gross is a writer/producer/director who has
worked in film and television over 25 years. Winner of 9 national Emmy
awards for his work on the innovative children’s series, Beakman’s
World for CBS and Bill Nye the Science Guy for PBS/Disney. He has worked
with many acclaimed directors and legends like David Lynch, Frank Zappa,
David Copperfield and many others. Recently he directed and edited the
Adventure Divas series for PBS and co-produced Bands Reunited for VH-1.
Petina Cole is the VP and COO of The Talking Pictures
Company in NYC. She produced The Warrior Class and was an associate
producer on Nola which will air on Lifetime Television this summer.
She specializes in screenwriting, casting and post-production music
supervision.
Kris Kristensen is one of Seattle’s premier
indie filmmakers. His first feature film, INHERITANCE is now available
worldwide on video. The film won 2nd place for Best Picture and Best
Cinematography, and was nominated for Best Director at HD Fest. He
was also the producer, editor and cinematographer on the award winning
short film WHITE FACE, which ran on HBO/Cinemax for two years.
Celia Beasley has produced programs for TV
in the US and in Europe. She worked on the Nova PBS series and was an
editor on the Showtime series “The American Candidate.”
As an indie filmmaker, her work has screened at Sundance, the Seattle
FInternational Film Festival, Telluride IndieFest and aired on PBS,
cable networks, and TF1, the largest TV network in France.
Mark Wareham is a director of photography who regularly
shoots feature films around the globe., including Flatlands with Dennis
Hopper in China, The Extra, coming out soon, Big Reef and directed second
unit for Anaconda.
